Despite the safety devices, every coffee machine poses hazard
potential if incorrectly used. Read the following instructions
when you use the coffee machine.
Hazard to life due to electrical shock if not
followed
• The mains voltage inside the coffee machine is a
hazard to life.
> Never open the housing.
> Never loosen the screws. Do not remove any hous-
ing parts.
> Never use a damaged mains cable.
> Avoid damage to the mains cable. Do not kink or
crush it.
Burn hazard / scalding hazard
• Do not touch the surface, because it can become
hot. When coffee is brewed, hot liquid is dispensed
from the basket fi lter.
> When brewing coffee, do not reach beneath the
basket fi lter.
> Do not pull the basket fi lter out immediately after
the brewing process. Hot liquid can splash out.
> Always place a suitable thermos jug under the
basket fi lter when brewing coffee.
> Always make sure the thermos jug is correctly posi-
tioned under the basket fi lter.
Health hazard
• Only use products that are suitable for consumption
and for use with the coffee machine.

fi ll the basket fi lter with materials for the use
intended.
