6.7
Lubrication:
6.7.1
Once a month: lubricate the chain, all pivot points on derailleur and derailleur
pulleys with chain lube. Also apply light oil to the upper fork leg where the
lower leg slides on it. Wipe clean.
6.7.2.
Every three months: lubricate the brake lever pivots and gears with light oil /
chain lube. Also lubricate the brake bushes (not the rubber brake shoes or
disc) with a little grease.
6.7.3
Once a year: have your dealer re-grease the bottom bracket bearings, headset
bearings, wheel bearings. Also, lubricate pedal axles where they thread into
the crank arms, handlebar stem.
