Quick Setup
1.4 Powering the TV On and Off
NOTE:
Before using the LCD TV for the first time, remember to remove the plastic film that protects the
panel during transport.
Main Power Switch
When using the LCD TV for the first time, make sure that the main power switch located on the
rear of the LCD TV is set to the on (
I
) position. The power indicator on front of the LCD TV will
illuminate orange, indicating that the TV has power and is currently in standby mode.
Once the master power switch has been engaged, TV power can be turned on and off using the
power buttons located on the right side panel of the TV or the remote control.
Power Button
To turn the TV on, press the
POWER
button located on the right side panel of the TV or the power
button on the remote control. The power indicator on front of the LCD TV lights green to indicate
that the TV is on.
To turn the TV off, press the
POWER
button located on the right side panel of the TV or the power
button on the remote control. The power indicator on front of the LCD TV lights orange to
indicate that the TV is in off (standby) mode.
