Appendix C : REACH
REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the
protection of human health and the environment from the risks that
can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of
the EU chemicals industry. It also promote alternative methods for the
hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce th number of
tests on animals.
DO NOT throw the motherboard in municipal waste. This
product has been designed to enable proper reuse of parts
and recycling. This symbol of the crossed out wheeled bin
indicates that the product (electrical and electronic
equipment) should not be placed in municipal waste. Check
local regulations for the disposal of electronic products.
DO NOT throw the mercury-containing button cell battery in
municipal waste. This symbol of the crossed out wheeled bin
indicates that the battery should not be placed in municipal
waste.
Check battery polarity before installation/replacement.
Installing battery with reverse polarity can cause explosion.
Dispose of used batteries according to your local
regulations.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the manufacturer.
