General notes
Congratulations on purchasing the WimTec
OCEAN W6 wall fitting.
Please take note of the following cleaning
and maintenance recommendations in order
to ensure that you will be able to enjoy this
high-quality product for many years:
Use mild cleaning agents containing soap
Do not use abrasive, scrubbing or acidic
cleaning agents or disinfectants
Do not use a cleaning agent that leaves
a nano protective coating or provides a
self-cleaning (lotus) effect
Clean the fitting with a soft sponge or
cloth only
Do not use steam cleaners
This manual is valid for the following
products:
WimTec OCEAN W6 - 12 V Art. No.
Projection 185 mm 112 382, 114 638
Projection 240 mm 118 803, 118 810
Delivery scope:
Safety glass front plate, mounting frame with
integrated electronics module, thermostat han-
dle with hot-water blocking mechanism, spout
and mounting material.
Important installation notes:
Mounting and installation may only be per-
formed by a qualified service provider in accor-
dance with DIN 1988, ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8001 and
VDE 0100 Part 701. When planning and install-
ing sanitary facilities, all relevant local, national
and international standards and provisions must
be observed. Do not mount the 230 V / 12 V
power supply in protected zones, if applicable.
If the fitting is switched off, for example, for
cleaning purposes, a waiting time of one min-
ute is recommended to prevent unintentional
activation.
