1 General
1.1 About this document
The installation and operating instructions are an in-
tegral part of the product. Read these instructions
before carrying out any work and keep them at hand
at all times. Strict adherence to these instructions is
a precondition for the correct installation and appli-
cation of the product. Comply with all indications
and signs appearing on the product.
The language of the original installation and operat-
ing instructions is English. All other languages of
these instructions are translations of the original in-
stallation and operating instructions.
EC-Declaration of conformity:

A copy of the EC-Declaration of conformity is
an integral part of these installation and oper-
ating instructions.

If a technical modification is made to the series
named herein without our agreement, this de-
claration loses its validity.
2 Safety
This chapter contains essential instructions that
must be followed during the different phases of the
pump’s service life. Non-observance of these in-
structions may constitute a danger to persons, the
environment and the product, and may invalidate the
