10 Faults, causes and remedies
WARNING
Risk of electric shock
Danger from electrical current must be elimin-
ated.
Before carrying out electrical work, the pump
must be de-energised (switched off) and protec-
ted against unauthorised restarting.
It is recommended to disconnect the plug.
Faults Causes Remedies
The pump does
not start despite
sufficient water
flow Faulty connection Insert the power plug firmly
Cord disconnected or dam-
aged Replace the cord
Note: if the supply cord is
damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufac-
turer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard
Trouble in the motor Repair or replace the motor
The voltage of the power
supply to the pump is too
low Check the voltage of the
power supply and consult
with the local power sup-
plier
Flow sensor fault (blocked
valve, connection fault,
etc.) Clean the valve environ-
ment
