Lightning Arrestors
In-line lightning arrestors are fitted to each antenna between the antennas and coaxial cables.
Lightning arrestors for Yagi antennas do not need to be earthed as the antenna is metal, however,
fiberglass omni-directional antennas require an earth wire to be fitted.
Note: Before installing lightning arrestors, apply PVC tape over the N-type connectors at one end of
the coaxial cables to keep dirt out during installation.
Lightning Arrestor Installation Instructions

Screw the lightning arrestor onto the N-type antenna connector (Figure 4).
