Only when a battery is replaced by another type of battery (for the values to be set, see above) the
initial capacity shall be set subsequently. The setting is secured and can only be performed when
the housing is opened.

Remark: if a D cell is to be changed for a DD cell, the battery peg inside the battery holder must be removed
with a wire cutter.
Careful
The battery must not be recharged or short-circuited.
Used batteries must be sent to a certified processing company.
