6.0. Maintenance
8.1. General
CAUTION :
The machine must be
attached to the tractor
for all maintenance work.
- RISK OF INJURY !
All work for maintenance,
repair and disassembly
must be done by qualified
technicians only.
Always carry out repair,
maintenance and cleaning
work, including the
elimination of
malfunctions, with the
drive turned off and the
engine at stand still.
Remove the ignition key.
The centrifugal mass may
cause the blower to run
on. Do not move too near
to the machine during this
time. Work can only be
continued when the fan
wheel is at a standstill.
Machine maintenance
involves not only
lubrication but also
cleaning. After completion
of work, the machine
should be washed and
thoroughly checked over.
Use
original parts only
;
parts from other
manufacturers are often
not of the required
quality and therefore
constitute safety hazards.
Furthermore, the guarantee
only retains its validity,
and legitimate guarantee
claims can only be
recognized, if
original
parts from Wiedenmann
have
been used exclusively.
We would like to draw
your attention, in
particular, to the fact
that original parts
which are not supplied
by Wiedenmann have
neither been tested nor
approved by Wiedenmann.
The installation and /
or employment of such
products can, in some
circumstances therefore,
have negative structural
effects on your vehicle
and negatively affect
active and / or passive
safety. The manufacturer
is in no way liable for
damage resulting from
the use of parts from
other manufacturers.
Welding work on load-
bearing parts must be
carried out in
accordance with
recognized welding-
technology methods
Upon completion of
maintenance work,
reinstall all protective
devices.
