7.0. Operation
7.1. General
CAUTION :
The user of the Mega Twister
is responsible for the safety
of third parties in the
working area.
Never operate the Mega
Twister without safety
devices. Otherwise you would
be exposing yourself and
those around you to extreme
danger.
When moving off, ensure that
the immediate area of the
machine is clear e.g. no
CHILDREN nearby!
All persons must be out of
the danger area before
starting.
If there are persons in the
danger zone of the machine,
switch off the drives
immediately.
When used on stony ground
(e.g. gravel, crushed rock),
ensure that there is
sufficient clearance to avoid
injury to persons or property
damage from flying rocks.
The power take-off shaft:
never switch on when the
engine is not running
always turn off when it is
not required
always turn off before
raising the Mega Twister
7.2. Switching on
Never switch on the blower at
full engine speed.
Note!
To switch on the power take-
off shaft, lower engine speed
to idling to half engine
speed and engage clutch
carefully. Then increase
engine speed to the desired
level (max. 540 rpm).
7.3. Blower wheel
If you detect a wheel
imbalance, the machine must be
shut down immediately.
The blower wheel must be
removed and balanced.
