2.0. Connecting
2.9. CARDAN SHAFT ADJUSTMENT
Connect the cardan shaft
and check that it has the
correct length in working
position and in raised
position; shorten if
necessary. Secure cardan
shaft guard with attached
chain.
For adjusting the length hold
the two shaft parts side by
side within the shortest
operating position and mark
them out.
Cut off the inner and outer
sliding profile by the same
length as the sheath tube.
Cut off the inner and outer
sheath tube evenly.
Smooth off division edges,
remove chips carefully.
Lubricate sliding profile.
