Beehive Supers
a) Using a rubber mallet, assemble your beehive
Supers
(Part 6 & 7) by aligning the joints as shown in Diagram 9.
Use mallet to hammer into place.
Repeat
Step 6
with remaining supers.
Attaching Base to Supers
Turn your assembled beehive upside down.
Take your assembled
Base Board
and align the beehive
walls with the
Base Board Risers
.
Use your
9x 50mm nails
to attach the assembled
Base
Board
to the
Beehive Box
as shown.
Complete assembly by placing the pre-assembled lid on top.
b) Pre-Drill to prevent nails splitting timber, use
3mm drill bit.
c) Use
20x 40mm nails
to secure the walls together.
