The 

Base Back Riser

 

should sit flush with the 

back edge of the base 

board.

Marking Lines

Place the 

Base Board

 down on your workspace. See Diagram 1 

to identify where you need to use your pencil to mark where the 

cleats will be placed.

Note: The side which is facing upwards to you will form the 

outside base of your beehive. 

Placing Cleats

Place the edge of your 

2x Cleats

 within the 14 cm pencil mark as 

shown in Diagram 2.

Once done, put cleats in place and turn it over.

Nailing Cleats

Use 

4x 30mm

 nails to attach the 

Cleats

 to the 

Base Board.

Note: We suggest placing the nail 10cm in from the edge of the 

Cleats on each side. Once done put the assembled baseboard & 

cleats to the side for later.

Nailing Base Board Riser

Gather the base board part 

No. 3, 4, 5 & 4x 25mm nails. 

Place and nail the corners as shown in Diagram 5.

The 

Base Entrance Riser

 should be at least 

2.5cm away from the front edge of the base 

board. See Diagram 6.

If unclear, view this manual’s cover to see

notice some space between the
