5.3 Digital Outputs:

The CPT-1 sends out signals to control or be read by other devices. There are two types of digital outputs, voltage

source or a voltage sink. The CPT-1 will turn on both corresponding voltage source and sink when it turns on an

output. Generally, components that may have a higher current draw should be connected to the voltage sink.

rate. If the tool is

only looking for one

signal indicating a

full cycle rate, only

to the tool.

Otherwise connect

both left and right to

the tool.
