• Take the appliance and all the accessories out of the packaging.
• Open the lid by pressing the lock knob (8)
• Lift up the jointed handle. It is released when it is in the horizontal position (5-6).
• Remove the filter basket from the pan as well as all the printed documents. The appliance is
entirely dismantable washable in diswasher.
• Clean the metallic areas of the lid, pan and filter basket with a damp sponge and soap liquid.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

FILL THE PAN WITH FAT.
• We recommend to use vegetal oil or vegetal fat.
• Do not mix different kinds of fat.
• The filling level always to be between the mini mark and the maxi. mark shown on the inside of
the pan.
• If you use solid fat, cut it in small pieces and put them directly on the bottom of the pan (900 g
of solid fat is about same as 1 l of oil).
• Never put the fat in the filter basket, not to damage the appliance.
MOVE THE THERMOSTAT TO THE REQUIRED POSITION (10)
• Close the lid of the fryer by slightly pressing it. A click sound means that it is released.
• To heat solid fat, first move the temperature adjustor to the lower position. When the fat is
liquid, move the temperature adjustor to the required position.
OPERATING THE FRYER
• Plug the fryer.
• Set the thermostat on the desired temperature (between 150and 190°C).
• During preheating, the lighting indicator (9) may light up or go out once or twice. When it is no
more lighted, it means that the oil or the fat has reached the required temperature. The
temperature of oil or fat is homogeneous and the result is better.
• During frying the light indicator may light up or go out several times. It remains lighted during
the heating of the pan to keep the required temperature.
OPEN THE LID :
• Press the knob button (8)
• The lid opens automatically.
