• Before using the RACLETTE/GRILL/FONDUE for the first time, wash the grill plate, raclette
pans, sauce bowl, fondue forks and fondue pot in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Wipe all the top cooking surfaces of the grill plate and raclette pans with a very thin coating
of vegetable oil. This will seal the PTFE cooking surfaces and help to prevent the food sticking
and so making cleaning easier.
• Then plug the appliance into the electricity supply.
• Switch on by turning the rotary thermostat knob clockwise to the desired temperature setting,
then heat for ten minutes in a well ventilated room, some smoke may be produced by the
heating element. The heating will remove any residue left by the manufacturing process.
