Checking for water leaks
This must be done whenever maintenance is carried out on the machine: check all water
connections, braces, tubes and hoses in order to eliminate leaks and prevent breakages and flooding.
Check that the valve closes tightly on models with an automatic cleaning system.
SPECIAL ADVICE CONCERNING R-404 REFRIGERANT
•
R-404 is a mixture of 3 liquid-phase gases. On evaporating, the 3 component gases separate
•
Always use the liquid phase valve (at the end of condenser or accumulator) for refills and purges.
•
When replacing a compressor. wash inside of circuit with a suitable s pump, dry with nitrogen,
REPLACE THE DRIER WITH ONE SUITABLE FOR
•
R-404, which must also have ANTI-ACID properties.
•
If you need to add oil, use one which is specific for R-404 (POE). If you are in doubt, contact the
machine manufacturer.
•
If there is a leak anywhere in the circuit where R-404 in the GAS phase, and a refill of over
10% is required, then ALL THE GAS IN THE CIRCUIT MUST BE PURGED AND THEN
REFILL AS DESCRIBED PREVIOUSLY (LIQUID PHASE VALVE)
