Optimize the sound quality
Disturbing noise when using the JACKPORT with an iPhone* or cell phone:
Activate the flight mode on your iPhone* or cell phone while using your iPhone* and cell
phone with your JACKPORT (see page 50 and 51).
Your problems have not been solved? Please contact your specialist for electronic appliances.
Optimize the sound quality:
Like with a stereo, the sound quality of the JACKPORT is influenced by its location.
Please note the following recommendations to obtain the best sound result:
1. Put your JACKPORT in an upright position.
2. Have the JACKPORT in head hight of the audience.
3. Turn the JACKPORT towards the audience.
Note: A volume which is too loud or extreme sound adjustments (i. e. too much bass) on
your cell phone or music player can have a negative influence on the sound result. In this
case reduce the volume, change the sound adjustments of your cell phone or music player
or note the quality of your music files (see page 62).
Troubleshooting
Volume too low, no sound while playing:
• Check the volume on your cell phone or media player (see page 55).
• Press the volume (1) on your JACKPORT.
• Press the volume (F1) on the separately sold remote control.
· Press the source button in order to change the input source (see page 56).
Unclear sound:
The following instructions are for the use of cell phones and media players which are
connected through the in-put AUX (5) only:
1. Reduce the volume on your cell phone or media player
2. Hold your JACKPORT and press the volume (1) on your JACKPORT
until you reached the desired volume.
The following instructions relate to all appliances that are connected with the JACKPORT:
3. Be aware of the compression level of your music files: In case your mp3-data is compro-
mised too much, basses might be emphasized and higher sounds might squeal.
4. Check the volume on your appliance and adjust it if needed: Reduce basses and high
sounds – choose a medium setting.
