Using
Before first Use
Unpack the electronic hand scale and check the unit for any
damage in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of
reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for
children.
Intended Use
This scale serves to determine the indoor temperature and the
weighing value of the material to be weighed. It is intended to be
used as a “non-automatic” scale, i.e. the material to be weighed is
manually and carefully attached at the scale. The weighing value
can be read off after a stable weighing value has been obtained.
Inappropriate Use
Do not use the scale for dynamic weighing. In the event that
small quantities are removed or added to the material to be
weighed, incorrect weighing results can be displayed due to the
“stability compensation” in the scale. (Example: slow draining off
of liquid from a container attached to the scale.)
Do not attach a continuous load. This can damage the measuring
unit.
Prevent jolts, torsion and oscillation of any kinds.
Be sure to prevent overloading the scale in excess of the stated
maximum load, minus any tare weight that may possibly exist.
This could damage the scale.
Important: Always make sure that there are no people or
materials below the load that could be injured or damaged!
The scale is not suitable for weighing people. Do not use it as
baby scale.
The scale does not comply with the medical product law (MPG).
Never operate the scale in hazardous locations.
