Using
Structural alterations may not be made to the scale. This can
lead to incorrect weighing results, faults concerning safety regula-
tions as well as to destruction of the scale.
The scale may only be used in compliance with the described
guidelines.
Installing / Replacing the Battery
1. The battery compartment (1) is located at the
rear of the device. Pull the battery holder (9) at
the corrugated side out of the battery compart-
ment.
2. Insert a new 3 V battery of the type CR2032, as
pictured, into the battery holder.
3. Finally reinstall the battery holder into the battery compartment.
Pay attention that the triangle marking of the battery compart-
ment matches the marking of the battery holder.
If the display gets weaker over time or inaccurate or not compre-
hensible measurement results are obtained, change the battery
as soon as possible.
Powering On
Press the ON/OFF key (5) to switch on the electronic hand scale.
Then a self-test of the display takes place for a few seconds.
When the unit is ready to weigh,

Press the unit selection key (6) to switch from displaying the
measured values in the unit
