Using
(6) 10 A Jack
Plug-in connector for the red test lead for current measurements (400 mA to
10 A). Turn the rotary function switch (5) to the 10 A position.
(7) mA°C Jack
Plug-in connector for the red test lead for current measurements (< 400 mA).
Plug-in connector for the red plug of the K type temperature probe (17) for
temperature measurements.
(8) COM Jack
Ground reference point for all types of measurements. This test lead is
connected to the ground point of the measurement object.
Plug-in connector for the black plug of the K type temperature probe (17) for
temperature measurements.

(10) Backlight Key

Press and hold this key for approx. 1 second to switch on the backlight of the
display. Press this key once more to switch off the backlight again.
(11) Relative Mode Key REL
Relative mode is available in all functions except frequency and duty cycle
functions. When the relative mode has been selected, the meter stores the
present reading as a reference for subsequent measurements.
1. Use the meter as described in this manual and obtain a certain reading.
2. Press the REL key (11). The meter enters the relative mode and stores the
current reading as a reference. The relative mode indicator (D) appears on
the display.
3. The display then shows the difference between the reference and a new
measurement.
4. Press the REL key again to exit the relative mode.
(12) Frequency Measuring Mode Key Hz%
It can be used to switch the meter between frequency and duty cycle
measurements.
