4. Installation & Operation
4.1 Installation
1. Remove the upper packaging gently and take the roller out by holding the unit from
the bottom.
2. Ensure that all the packaging accessories are removed from the product prior to
using the roller for the first time.
ATTENTION: Keep all the packaging in safe storage for at least two years after the
purchase for warranty purposes.
Location and mounting
1. Place the device on a flat and levelled surface and ensure that all four feet stand
on the surface firmly. Avoid installing on a slippery surface or surface prone to
vibration.
2. Ideal ambient temperature is 20ºC ± 5ºC; avoid placing the device in direct sunlight
3. Keep the clearance of at least 30cm from all sides to guarantee cooling efficiency
4. Keep this away from heat or water to avoid sample tem¬perature issues
5. Do not place the device in a place that it becomes difficult to operate
Connecting the power adaptor
1. Connect one side of the power adaptor to the rear side of the device and the other
to the power supply as indicated in the figure below
2. Ensure that the power switch is OFF when connecting the power adaptor
Removing the rollers
The device rollers can be removed or changed with a simple push up and pull process.
1. Open the hinge as shown in the below figure
2. Push the roller gently on the hinge side
3. Pull the roller up
4. Pull the roller out of the side opposite to the hinge
