Using
Before first Use
Attention! Remove the scale of the packaging and dispose of packaging
material. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for small children.
Clean the weighing platform (1) of the digital scale with a lightly moistened
cloth.
Intended Use
The scale is intended for weighing objects and foodstuff for private use.
The scale is not intended for commercial use.
Inserting the Batteries (optional)
The scale has a solar module and is powered by daylight or sufficient
artificial lighting.
If the artificial lighting and/or the daylight is not sufficient to supply the
kitchen scale with energy, place batteries in the battery compartment.
1. Turn the scale upside down, slide the
battery compartment cover in direction to
the arrow and remove the cover.
2. Insert 4 batteries of type 1.5 V LR03 (AAA)
into the battery compartment. The battery
symbols are shown inside.
3. Close the battery compartment again with the cover.
Setting the Unit of Measurement
1. Place the scale on a flat and hard surface to ensure maximum
accuracy during weighing.
2. To turn on the kitchen scale, press the ON/OFF/TARE button (2).
3. For two seconds the display will show,
HI
and then
0
oz
resp.
0
g
.
To change from oz (ounces) to g (grams), press the button MODE (4)
twice. The display will show lb (pounds) and thereafter g (grams).
Note: The last entry will be saved in the memory, even after switching off
the kitchen scale.
