Using
Before first Use
Unpack the bypass tree pruner and check it for any damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children.
Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.
Only use the bypass tree pruner for cutting wood. Do not abuse the
scissors or the saw blade for cutting material not intended for. The tree
pruner is intended for cutting branches up to a thickness of
28 mm can be cut. Do not cut branches thicker than 28 mm!
Using the Scissors of the Tree Pruner
1. For using the scissors first unlock the green
locking mechanism completely. Turn the locking
mechanism counter clockwise.
2. Pull the black handle downwards. By doing this
the scissors will close and cut the branch.
3. For cutting high-hanging branches use the knob
at the end of the pole. By pulling out and
releasing the knob the scissors will close and
open again.
4. To tension the rope length, use the black strap
and re-adjust the tension (if the rope loses its
tension after extended use).
Adjusting the Cutting Head
The cutting head can be adjusted up to an
angle of 180°.
1. First pull out the turning knob
. Then
turn to the desired direction, either to the
right or to the left.
2. As soon as the cutting head is set to the
correct angle position, release the turning
knob and make sure the cutting head has
engaged in this position.
