Safety Notes
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Please read the manual completely and observe all safety notes
before operating the unit.
Keep bystanders out of the working area. Do not
leave the hedge trimmer unattended after use. Do
not operate the trimmer if children or pets are in
the vicinity of the unit
Use the hedge trimmer only for the intended use to cut leaves, bushes,
shrubs and hedges. Do not cut thick branches or similar material.
Do not use the hedge trimmer near flammable liquids or gases.
The hedge trimmer is not designed for professional use.
Before using, check the hedge trimmer for any damaged parts and do not use
the hedge trimmer if damages are detected.
Do not use the hedge trimmer when your reactivity is affected by alcohol
consumption, medication, drugs, illness or when you are tired. One moment
of inattention when operating the unit can cause severe injuries.
Always hold the hedge trimmer securely with both hands on the handles.
Wear suitable clothing and use a face-shield, safety
gloves and ear protection.
Make sure to have a safety stand when operating the
hedge trimmer. When using ladder or scaffold, make sure the stands are
stable and cannot topple over. Always keep yourself balanced when cutting
with the hedge trimmer.
Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle only. Always fit the blade bar
protection when carrying or storing the hedge trimmer. Careful handling with
the hedge trimmer reduces the risk of injuries caused by the blade bar.
When cleaning, maintaining and not in use always remove the spark plug
socket from the hedge trimmer.
The cutters of the blade bar are very sharp. Do not touch the cutters during
use and keep fingers, hair, clothing and similar objects away from the blade
bar.
