Cutting a Slot
1. To cut a slot precisely in the middle of an
edge, set the stop bracket (4) on a value
exactly the middle of the stock’s strength.
Depending on the strength of the stock you
should use an adequate biscuit.
2. To cut the corresponding slot, set the
cutting depth on the adjusting dial. There
are four settings: 0, 10, 20, and M. These
positions correspondent to biscuits of the
sizes 0, 10 and 20. In the setting M you
reach the unit’s maximum cutting depth of
18 mm.
On the stop bracket as well as on the front plate of the unit is a middle mark.
This is exactly where the deepest point of the slot is.
1. Mark the stock where you want to cut the slot and set the unit down on this
mark with the middle mark.
2. Turn on the unit and gently press the rear part against the stock. The
cutting disc will cut the slot exactly in the desired place.
