Operation
Remove the unit out of the packing and check all parts for damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging materials or store them out of reach of children. Plastic
bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.
Always pull the power plug before undertaking any work on the unit!
Mounting the Handle
The included handle can be mounted to the
transmission housing by means of four
screws and two spacers. To mount the
handle you need two Phillips screwdrivers
size PH2 and PH3. Alternatively to the PH3 a
large flat screwdriver can be used.
1. First install the two large Phillips screws.
2. Put the spacers between the handle and
the transmission housing.
3. Finally, use the small Phillips screws to secure the handle.
Mounting the Dust Extractor
On the rear right of the cutter head
housing (10) is the dust extractor flange.
1. Insert the adapter into the opening.
Make sure the tongue with the plastic
bulge is on the top side. Insert the
adapter as far as possible and make
sure the adapter securely snaps in
place.
2. The included dust bag or a vacuum
cleaner or a dust extraction system
can be mounted to the adapter. A vacuum cleaner or a dust extraction
system should, if available, be preferred to the dust bag.
