Switching from the Bit Holder to the Drill Chuck
Only the tool holder which points forward is
driven.
1. To switch between the tool holders, push
forward the locking button (2) of the
transmission head.
2. At the same time turn the transmission
head until the arrow behind the tool holder
lines up with arrow on the motor housing.
The transmission head will now snap in
place.
Similarly with the changeing of the tool
holder the maximum speed of the machine
changes. The drill chuck will run with a maximum speed of 820 min-1, the
magnetic bit holder is powered to a maximum speed of 230 min-1.
Inserting the Drill Bits
1. The Twin Drill is equipped with a keyless chuck (1). Make sure tools are
inserted and clamped straight.
2. To insert a tool hold the lower ring of
the chuck and turn the clamping ring
counter clockwise to open it.
3. Open the chuck far enough to insert
the tool.
4. Insert the tool as far as it will go.
After that, tighten the clamping ring
by turning it clockwise.
Inserting the Tool Bits
Long tool bits can be inserted into the bit holder directly. For short tool bits
the use of the included magnetic bit holder is recommended.
The torque on the bit holder is can be regulated in 10 steps with the torque
setting rind (3).
