The
DEFENDER™
compact plow's hydraulic system
gives you full control of the snowplow from the
driver's seat. Two single-acting hydraulic rams hold
the blade at the desired angle. The blade is raised
in approximately 4 seconds and angled side to side
in approximately 3 seconds. The hydraulic unit's
manifold has built-in blade scrape lock circuitry. This
feature resists the tendency of a snowplow to "
fl
oat
up" when large amounts of snow build up in front of
the blade while plowing deep snow or stacking snow
into piles. The scrape lock feature is factory set. See
your sales outlet for adjustment.
