On the Custom Setup dialog:
a. Clear the check box for the applications that you want to uninstall:
•
WD Drive Utilities
•
WD Security
•
WD SmartWare
b. Click Next to uninstall the selected applications.
6.
When the uninstall completes, click
Finish
to close the WD Apps Setup Wizard.
Note:
If you want, you can also use the operating system’s Add or Remove
Programs function to uninstall the WD software.
Important:
Uninstalling the WD SmartWare software deletes all existing
backup job configurations. You must restart the backup job manually after
reinstalling the software. (See “Backing Up Your Computer Files” on
page 25.)
