CAUTION:
Westell Remote devices and peripherals contain electrostatic sensitive components.
Installers should wear a grounding wrist strap throughout the installation process.
Proper handling precautions must be exercised.
Step A: Install SIM Card in RMC-7XX-G
1. Remove the top cover from RMC-7XX-G by removing the screws from the center of each side
panel with a screwdriver (See Figure 1). Lift the top cover off the unit.

Note:
RMC-7XX-G Remote Wireless Gateway’s SIM card holder is designed for a Mini SIM
Card. Use of a Micro SIM card or a Nano Sim Card requires the appropriate adapter.
2. The SIM card slides into a card holder that hinges outward to allow installation. To install the
SIM card:
A.
Lift the unhinged end of the card holder up from the circuit board. Insert the square end of
the SIM card all the way into the slot in the unhinged edge (see Figure 2). Make sure the card
