OPERATION

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE:

Before using the tool, read the

instruction book carefully.

INTENDED USE:

The machine is intended for the horizontal cutting or slitting
of mainly mineral material such as marble.

1.  INSTALLING OR REMOVING DIAMOND
CUTTING BLADE (See Fig.A,B)

a. Inserting the Diamond Cutting Blade (Not Supplied) (See
Fig.A)
Firstly, place inner flange (12) onto motor spindle (13);
Secondly, place diamond cutting blade (7) onto inner flange;
And then place outer flange (9) onto diamond cutting blade;
Finally, use spanner (14) hold outer flange and use socket
spanner (15) screw blade securing screw(8) into motor
spindle. .

WARNING:

Left-hand thread!

Before reassembly, remove the parts for cleaning.

b. Removing Diamond Cutting Blade (See
Fig.B)
Removing diamond cutting blade according
to reverse sequence of above instruction.

2.  ADJUSTING THE DEPTH OF CUT
(See Fig. C)

Loosen the wing bolt on the Depth Guide (4) and move the
base up or down. At the desired depth of cut, secure the
base by tightening the wing bolt.

Raise:

For greater cutting depths.

Lower:

 For smaller cutting depths.

Use a ruler, scale or something similar to adjust the required
depth.
Retighten the winged bolt.
Maintain a uniform feeding speed during the entire cutting
procedure. If a perfect cut is desired, the Diamond-Cutting
Blade must protrude 2mm out of the material.

3.  SWITCH ACTION (See Fig.D)

Caution:

Before plugging in the tool, always

check to see that the switch trigger actuates

properly.
To prevent the switch trigger from being accidentally pulled,
a Lock-off Button(2) is provided.
To start the tool, depress the lock-off button and pull the
switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop.

4. OPERATION

Wear safety glasses, hearing protection and a dust

protection mask.
Wear protective gloves and sturdy shoes.
• Clamp down the workpiece if it does not stay in place
owing to its own weight.
• Do not load the machine so heavily that it comes to a
standstill.

CAUTION:

Diamond Cutting Blades become very

hot during operation; do not touch  it until it have

cooled down.
When cutting, do not press, tilt or oscillate. Gently slide it
forward with a speed adapted to the material being worked
on.
Do not brake cutting discs that are slowing down to a stop
by using side pressure.

5. WET-CUTTING

To introduce tap(16) into the indicated for the arrow;
After that to introduce screw through the hole and to incase
not in accordance with the arrow indicates and then tight
the screw (See Fig E).
Screw the hose adapter(17) to the water tap and attach the
hose firmly onto the tap(16) (See Fig F).

6. CUTTING DIRECTION (See Fig.G)

Hold the tool firmly. Set the Base Plate (10) on the
workpiece to be cut without the  blade making any contact.
Then turn the tool on and wait until the blade attains
full speed. Now simply move the tool forward over the
workpiece surface, keeping it flat and advancing smoothly
until the cutting is completed. Keep your cutting line straight
and your speed of advance uniform.
The cutting direction is very important.
The machine must always run in counterrotation, so push
the machine forwards. Otherwise, the machine mat be
pressed out of the cut in an uncontrolled fashion.

CAUTION:

• This tool should only be used on horizontal

surfaces.
• Be sure to move the tool forward in a straight line and
gently. Forcing and exerting excessive pressure or allowing
the wheel to bend, pinch or twist in the cut can cause
overheating of the motor and dangerous kickback of the
tool.
• Since excessive cutting may cause overload of the motor,
the depth of cut should not be more than 20mm at a pass.
When you wish to cut more than 20mm deep, make a
couple of passes with progressively deeper settings.
