
11. Be careful not to lose the engine shaft key (shown in Fig. 7 below). Set it on a clean cloth.
INSTALLING THE NEW PUMP
12. Prepare the new pump. At this point, if you followed option 8.1 in step 8 above, proceed with
the directions below. If not, proceed directly to step 13.
1. Place the pressure washer on the ground. Remove the gun from its storage point on the
frame and set it somewhere safe.
2. Place the engine atop the frame with the shaft pointing downwards.
3. Align one of the threaded holes in the crankcase with one of the three holes on the frame.
Keep the engine facing the same way it was when you began.
4. Insert one of the screws removed in step 10 above and tighten it a few turns.
5. Repeat steps 12.3 & 12.4 for the other two holes in the crankcase and frame. When you are
done, the bottom of the frame should look like Fig. 8 below.
