Place the infrared communication ports of your device and another 

terminal  so  that  they  face  each  other,  and  start  infrared  com-

munication also on that terminal.  

When a key is pressed, the corresponding key data is sent and at 

the same time, it is also displayed on the screen (local echo). 

 

When the data is received at the other end, it is highlighted on 

the screen.
