I2C
Weidos controllers have an external I2C connector to communicate with peripheral devices (sensors or
actuators) using this protocol.
I2C only uses two wires to transmit data between devices:

SDA (Serial Data)

The line for the master and slave to send and receive data.
SCL (Serial Clock)
–
The line that carries the clock signal.
3,3 VDC and GND connectors, are meant for external sensor/actuator supply.
I2C protocol is widely used for attaching lower-speed peripheral ICs to processors and microcontrollers in
short-distance, intra-board communication. Weidos I2C communication

up resistors as it have already integrated circuits for that.
Following the documentation, see the wiring diagram for the internal I2C bus of Weidos controllers. Note
that the peripheral I2C port operates at 3.3Vdc.
