Print and printer controls
Import File – Load .stl file to prepare for printing.
To Platform – Move Object to the base of the print area
Move – Allows the model to be moved around the print area
Scale – Allows the model to be scaled up or down
Rotate – Allows the model to be rotated in the print area
PLA – Standard filament type for the MagiCube
Low – Lowest printing speed.
Med – Medium printing speed.
High – Highest printing speed.
High – Sets layer height to high resolution, which is 0.2mm thick for each
layer. The print will take longer, but surfaces will be smoother.
Low – Sets layer height to low resolution, which is 0.3mm thick for each layer.
The print will be completed faster, but the surfaces may not be as smooth.
Raft – Prints a layer of filament under the object. This can help certain models
adhere to the print bed.
Support Structures – Generate break-away support structures for more
difficult prints that contain overhangs.
Preheat – Heat up the print head
Load – Pushes filament through print head, and primes the nozzle.
(Must pre-heat first)
Unload – Pulls filament out of the nozzle, and out the top of the print head.
(Must pre-heat first)
Status – Shows “Connected” or “Disconnected” depending on whether
printer is plugged in and powered.
Print – Begin printing over USB.
Export X3g – Generates an .X3g file that can be printed from SD card
(recommended method)
