3.2.3.
Load the filament
1.
Open the mini roll of filament and trim off the bent end that was used to secure the roll
2.
Take the mini roll of filament and snap it onto the rear spool holder.
3.
Thread the filament through the guide tube on the side of the enclosure.
4.
Thread the filament into the filament entrance
on the top of the print head, and push it down
until you feel resistance.
5.
Turn the control knob on the printer to the left
so that the arrow on the left side is beside the
option “Change Filament”
6.
Press the control knob in briefly to activate the
selection.
7.
Turn the knob so that “Load” is selected.
8.
Press the control knob in briefly to activate the
selection.
9.
Wait for the nozzle to heat. When the nozzle is
at temperature, the screen will read
“Please Push the Filament”
10.
Gently push the filament into the top of the
extruder until you can feel the extruder pulling
the filament.
11.
Wait for the filament to start coming out of the
nozzle, then press the control knob briefly 3
times to stop the loading.
12.
Remove extruded filament from the nozzle
using tweezers, or a similar tool.
13.
Press and hold control knob for 2 seconds to
return to the previous menu (main)
