III. Control buttons
1. In the centre of the handlebar is the red multi-function button.
2. On: when the scooter is turned off, press the red button for 1
second to turn on the scooter.
3. Off: press the red button for 5 seconds to turn off the scooter.

Lights:
when the scooter is turned on,
press the red button
briefly to turn on/off the front and rear lights.
5. Speed modes: once in motion, press the red button for 2
seconds to change the speed mode as shown below:
•
L1: maximum speed 15 km/h,
•
L2: maximum speed 25 km
•
Pedestrian mode
6. Pedestrian mode: after selecting pedestrian mode (speed limit
3 km/h), press the accelerator button to activate the function.
The pedestrian mode can be activated when the user has to walk
next to the scooter. Pedestrian mode reduces the effort required by
providing a speed of 3 km/h.
IV. Speed controller
In order to activate the speed controller:
•
Hold the acceleration lever in the same position for 10 seconds.
To deactivate the speed controller:
•
Use the brake lever or
• Press the acceleration button
D. Error codes
In case of malfunction during the use of your Kickway L1 scooter, the
following error codes may be displayed on the screen:
Code Meaning
E1 Indicates a communication problem
E2 Indicates a problem with the brakes
E3 Indicates a problem with the levers
E5 Indicates a problem with the commands
