5 Operation Scanning and evaluation

– Tap the Pause icon (see page 76) to interrupt the
scanning.
– Tap the Resume icon (see page 76) to continue the
scanning.
– Tap the Stop icon (see page 76) to finish the scan-
ning. The inspection data is not yet stored.
– Save the inspection data.
– Before starting a new scan tap the Clear icon (see
page 75) to delete the recorded date from the B-scan
and the C-scan.
Saving and loading data
You can save the scan data for later analysis.
– In the Command bar tap the Save data icon (see
page 77). A dialog box opens.
– Tap in the field Name . A keyboard is displayed.
– Enter the name for the file.
– Tap on the keyboard symbol at the bottom right of the
keyboard to hide the keyboard again.
– Tap in the field Location and select the storage loca-
tion USB or USM100 .
– Select a directory and tap on Save to save the file in
the selected location.
– To load the saved data for analysis tap the Load data
icon (see page 77) and select the file.
Note
For evaluation the stored data can also be
loaded in the software
USM 100 PC from
Waygate Technologies.
