Converstion for l ine vo l tage i s performed with a s l i de swi tch mounted on the
rear pane l (see Figure 2-1 ) . The un it i s shipped w i th the �wi tch set for 1 1 5 vol ts.
To change the setting, insert a sma l l -bl ade screwdrive r i n the switch slot and
move switch to expese 1 1 5 for 1 1 5 Vac operation, or 230 for 230 Vac operation .
The instrument is shi pped with a 1 /4-am p slow-bl ow fuse for 1 1 5 -volt or 230-vo l t
o peration .

I n keeping with standard safety practice, the case of the
i nstrument is grounded through the pewer cord . I f the
i nstrument must be connected to a two-wire receptacle,
use a perol l e l -ground adapter and connect the short l ead
to ground .
