Dwell-Time
Selects trace
Dwell-Time
(the time that the instrument looks for
signal on each frequency). Longer dwell-time enables you to
check for Ingress. Use either the numeric keypad, or

key. Or, use the up/down arrow keys. Dwell is adjustable from
64
µ
Sec to 25 mSec. Scan time will Will increase to a maximum
of approximately seven seconds when dwell-time is set to 25
mSec.
A/B Markers
Press to select A/B markers, and move markers as required with
the left/right arrow keys.
Amplifier/Low-pass Filter
Press this to enter the Amp/Low-pass Filter sub-menu, then to
return to the main SPECT sub-menu. See specs in the next two
icons.
3. Amplifier Sub Mode
Press to enable/disable the 13 dB amplifier, as necessary to
examine better the signal “in the noise”. Right side darkens when
enabled.
Low-Pass Filter
Press to enable/disable 50 MHz low-pass filter, which when-
enabled filters out all frequencies above 50 MHz. This is useful
for return-path examination.
