sult may indicate hyperglycemia (high blood glucose). The Hi
result is stored in the memory with time and date. It will not
be included in averages.

your healthcare professional’s recommendations. If you get
a Hi glucose test result but have no symptoms of high blood
glucose, then retest with a new WaveSense Jazz Test Strip. If
you still get a Hi glucose test result, follow your healthcare
professional’s recommendations. Checking ketones may be
advisable.
HYPOGLYCEMIC WARNING ALARM:
Flashing

Test result flashes, with

MEANING:
If the Hypoglycemic Warning Alarm is set, your
glucose test result is lower than the pre-set threshold.
CAUTION: Low or high blood glucose test results can
indicate a potentially serious medical condition. Follow
your healthcare professional’s recommendations.
The ADA (American Diabetes Association) recommends the
following target ranges for adults with Diabetes:
- Pre-Prandial Plasma Glucose: 90-130 mg/dL
- Post-Prandial Plasma Glucose: < 180 mg/dL
