GENERAL SAFETY
1. Take special care when preparing food for babies, the elderly and infirm. Always ensure
that the hand blender shaft is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing solution in
accordance with the sterilizing solution manufacturers’ instructions.
2. Never touch the blades while the machine’s plugged in.
3. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts.
4. Unplug after use and before changing attachments.
5. Never blend hot oil or fat.
6. Don’t let children or infirm people use the hand blender without supervision.
7. Never use a damaged hand blender. Get it checked or repaired in your local place.
8. Never put the power handle in water or let the cord or plug get wet ‐ you could get an
electric shock.
9. Never let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang down where a child could grab it.
10. Never use an unauthorized attachment.
11. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
12. Children shall not play with the appliance.
13. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision .
14. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
15. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff
kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients
in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type
environments.
16. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
17. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer ‐ switch or by means
of a separate system with remote control.
18. Do not leave the appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when no use and
before servicing.
CHOPPER ATTACHMENT
1. Don’t touch the sharp blades.
2. Remove the chopper blades before emptying the bowl.
3. Never remove the cover until the blade has completely stopped.
IMPORTANT
1. With heavy mixtures, don’t use your hand blender for longer than 30 seconds in any
four minutes period ‐ it’ll overheat.
2. Only use your hand blender for its intended
domestic use.
