I - SYSTEM PRESENTATION
Description
e-ULTRAMIX
®
is a next-generation system designed to
electronically set the tempe-
rature
of mixed water in collective facilities, either locally or remotely.
This electronic system is fitted with a smart control unit used to
program preventive
heat treatment cycles
automatically, safely and securely, to prevent any risk of legionel-
la in the DHW system. The control unit stores all settings relating to the preventive heat
treatment process, as well as the various alerts and alarms, to ensure effective monito-
ring of system hygiene.
System
data history can be retrieved
, either from the data stored on a microSD card,
or remotely by a
Building Management System
(Modbus protocol) via the dedicated
RS485 interface.
e-ULTRAMIX
®
is also the only
scalable system
on the market. It can be used on a new
system or an existing system already fitted with an
e-ULTRAMIX
®
mixing valve with the
simple addition of an
e-Kit.
Safety instructions
•Before installing, commissioning or performing maintenance on the
e-ULTRAMIX
®
system, please ensure you have read and understood the detailed instructions in this
booklet.
This symbol attracts the reader's attention and highlights critically important
instructions that must be followed WITHOUT FAIL to avoid damage to the system.
•The
e-ULTRAMIX
®
system must be installed and configured by a professional in accor-
dance with legal requirements, health regulations and all applicable laws.
•Ensure that all connections in your system are watertight.
Always make sure the electricity supply is disconnected before any installa-
tion or maintenance work!
Any installation or electrical connection to the e-ULTRAMIX
®
control unit
must be carried out safely. The e-ULTRAMIX must be connected and operated by
qualified personnel. Please respect all applicable safety regulations, in particular
the VDE 0100 / NF C15-100 standards (≤ 1000 VAC). If the power cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person.
Make sure your
e-ULTRAMIX
®
system is configured correctly (especially the
temperature limit) according to the technical specifications of your system.
The e-ultramix must not be used or operated by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
Important note
The hot water temperature should not exceed 85 °C, as this will cause premature ageing
of the device and system.
