When using external DC 12V or 24V battery the
polarity won’t be reversed and the fuse will melt.

DISPERSION OF HEAT
The unit will get warm during normal operation. This
indicates that the unit is functioning correctly. The
amount of heat generated will vary upon the power
drawn of the equipment being operated. In order to
disperse the heat : make sure that air is allowed to
circulate freely around the unit. A fan is helpful in
cases where the unit is operating at maximum power
output or extended period.

CAR BATTERY USE
To prevent a vehicle battery from discharging below
the voltage required to start the motor, we recom-
mend that the operator starts the vehicle every 2-3
hours to recharge the battery system. the unit may
be used either while the engine is running or turned
off. However, do not start a vehicle’s engine with the
unit in use.

OPERATION WITH TV SETS
Most TV sets require high starting currents to start.
Your converter is built with an « auto-starting TV sys-
tem » helping the TV to easily start.
