Thread one nylon clevis onto each pushrod wire and snap the
clevises into the adjustable control horns.

Hold the pushrod wires with a pair of pliers to prevent them from
turning while installing the clevises.

Remove the masking tape from the ailerons and double-check that the servo arm and the ailerons are still centered. If the
ailerons are not centered, adjust the clevises until they are. Move the ailerons up and down several times to ensure that the linkage
assembly does not bind.

SECTION 13: LANDING GEAR INSTALLATION
STEP 1: INSTALLING THE LANDING GEAR WIRES

Insert the short 90º bend in each of the two landing gear wires into
the predrilled hole in each landing gear mounting slot.

Push the landing gear wires firmly down into the slots so that the
top of the wires are nearly flush with the surface of the wing.

The prebent coil in the landing gear wires should
be toward the trailing edge of the wing.

Use two pieces of masking tape, taped between the ailerons and the wing, to hold the ailerons centered.

Carefully thread one nylon adjustable control horn onto each threaded aileron torque rod wire. The adjustable control horns
should both face the aileron servo and they both should be flush with the top of the torque rod wires.

The wheels included with the PT-19 Cornell EP ARF are suitable for use on hard surfaces, such as concrete,
asphalt and hard-packed dirt. If you will be flying off of grass, we suggest replacing the stock wheels with larger wheels. The
larger diameter wheels will make it easier to land and take off on grass runways. To save weight, you MUST use lightweight
foam wheels.
