If an error occurs, such as failure of the internal fan, the red LED lights up as well as a red LED on the inter-
face. (see Figure 7.9)
6.8 Redundant system architecture
The device is designed such that operation is only disrupted minimally if one of the device's main components
fails unexpectedly.
If there is a fault in a switching power supply (PME), the affected PME disconnects from the com-mon DC bus
by means of an internal power relay so as not to impact the operation of any other PMEs. Operation can be
continued despite failure of a PME, but with reduced power.
