5. Remove the red power cable seen in
Figure 6A
and replace it with the positive (+) lead from
the short quick-connect provided in the kit as seen in
Figure 6B.
The longer 6’ quick connect
cable will be used later to connect to your battery.
NOTICE
The positive (+) lead on the short
quick-connect will be the longer of the two leads and will be marked with both a white stripe
running the length of the cable and positive symbols.

6. Reassemble the control pack in the reverse order that it was disassembled.
7. Remove the long black ground cable from the motor ground (-) terminlal and replace with
the ground cable from the quick-connect in the same orientation shown in
Figure 7.
Note:
The small black wire attached to the motor ground (-) terminal must be reattached to the
motor ground (-) terminal when installing the quick-connect ground cable
.
NOTICE
The
ground cable on the quick-connect is solid black and shorter than the positive cable.
