II. INSTALLATION
1.
Unplug wiring harness for the front lights that runs
along the frame tube see
Figure 1
. This wiring needs
to be routed to the other side of the support tube.
When the mounting plate is placed into position make
sure that the plate does not pinch the wiring harness.
2.
The winch must be attached to the mounting plate
before it is placed into position. Use the 4, 5/16-18 x
1 hex head cap screws and lock washers that came
with the winch. NOTE: Motor wires no.1 and no.2
should be attached to the winch before it is placed
into position see figures 4 and 5. Do not forget to put
the motor terminal boots onto the wires when install-
ing the wires onto the motor.
